Our music program is exciting and takes advantage of instrumental music skills, collaborative involvement of students and teachers along with a innovative approach to the music curriculum. Our College is equipped with a fully operational recording studio and in classroom instruments.
Lessons are available with quality teachers in all concert band instruments such as flute, clarinet, saxophone, trombone, and trumpet, as well as modern instruments guitar, bass guitar and voice.
All students who learn an instrument also have the chance to be part of the many College Ensembles, such as Concert Band, Stage Band, Woodwind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Choirs and Rock Bands. These ensembles rehearse and perform regularly at college functions and community events.
Students who excel in music have the opportunity to study their chosen instrument through to VCE. This includes the opportunity to fast track their studies in Year 10, by completing Year 11 music.
If you would like to get further information about the Instrumental Music program, please contact Amelia Vance or Danielle Growse, Heads of Performing Arts at the college.
