Students will complete a self-guided tour of the Melbourne Immigration Museum. Students will complete a worksheet during their visit that they will need to submit as a Learning Task.
Following our time at the Melbourne Immigration Museum staff will guide the group through Enterprize Park and Sandridge Bridge to discuss aspects of indigenous Melbourne and our immigration history. Students will have some self-directed time where students will be required to stay in small groups and can experience aspects of the City of Melbourne. Students will be able to communicate with staff via mobile phone during this section of the excursion. |
Students need to meet at Heathmont Station by 8:35am (to catch an 8:51am train).
Students will be dismissed when the train arrives at Ringwood Station (scheduled to arrive at 3:01pm). There is a small cost for this excursion as the Melbourne Immigration Museum charges schools a small fee for all school excursions. Students will have the opportunity to purchase food/drink (with their own money) during this excursion. |
