This expo is basically like a huge I CAN Session. It’s a great opportunity for students to hear talks from our neurodiverse guest speakers and meet likeminded mentees and teachers from other schools. Attendees can also connect with I CAN’s industry partners to explore options for post-school careers and study. This will be a student-led expo run by I CAN Network for Autistic/ Neurodivergent students from the I CAN mentoring programs, who will have the opportunity to present their interests and unique skills. Your child, as a participant in our mentoring program, has the opportunity to represent our school at the I CAN Expo which will connect students from I CAN Schools across Victoria. The 2024 Expo will foster initiative, team building, confidence and leadership in the students who attend. |

There’ll be approximately 300 people at the event spread across three different presentation rooms (one large and two smaller rooms). For students who get easily overwhelmed, there’ll be a chill out/ quiet space that they can access if they need a break. We also provide lunch! Lunch will be catered as a self-serve buffet style, but students’ are welcomed to bring their own food if they’d like. |
