Smack talk is a non-for-profit organisation that aims to educate about suicide prevention and the dangers of cyber bullying and sexual extortion run by Wayne Holdsworth. On Sunday the 16th of July 2023 Mac lost his mum Renee to cardiac arrest. Exactly 100 days later the 24th of October 2023 Mac took his own life. Wayne, his dad, found him the morning of the 24th and about 3 weeks later decided that he needed to do something and make a change about suicide. This inspired him to start SmackTalk – dedicated to his son Mac. Through SmackTalks Wayne’s aim is to work his way around the world and try and end all deaths due to suicide. During these talks he shares his own experiences with suicide and the signs he wish he picked up on.
