Year 9Life OE: Aquanation

9LiFE Outdoor Education students have been learning about aquatic/water safety. Students will put their content knowledge into practice and will take part in safe water practices. Furthermore, students will take part in a swim assessment to gauge their swimming ability for future water activities in 9LiFE – this is a requirement by the Department of Education and must be completed prior to any swimming activities (such as surfing etc). 

Students will be meeting at Heathmont College for regular P1 and P2 and we will walk to AquaNation as a group at the beginning of P3. Students will be dismissed from Aqua Nation at 2.30pm. Students are asked to bring their bathers, a towel, water bottle, snacks and lunch for the day. Students will have the opportunity to purchase food at the Aqua Nation cafe if they wish.
